A: Once you have signed your CCP, we will contact your lender to obtain all the relevant financial documentation we need. The lender has up to 28 days to comply with our request. We will receive the financial information in the form of a Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) or Pre-Submission Information Request. This will be analysed and then processed by our team to identify any potential litigation opportunity that may exist. Following the investigation, our team will be able to determine whether there is a claim or not after reviewing the account history.

Note: You will be updated accordingly throughout the process.

A: Case to Answer was formed in 2019. We do not assist the public. We deal strictly with claims management companies, law firms and a number of introducers.

A: The deadline for Mis-Sold Payment Protection Insurance did pass in August 2019, however the focus at Case to Answer is on the undisclosed commission which may have been added to your policy. If your claim was rejected for mis-sold PPI or you missed the deadline, you are still entitled to compensation.

A: CTA uses an online system to process the Letters of Authority.

All legal services are provided by our highly qualified and experienced lawyers. Every lawyer we use has either qualified as a Solicitor, a Barrister or an overseas attorney and has gained at least five (5) years’ of practical experience in their area of specialisation. They simply choose to practice in an unregulated manner as “Lawyers” here at CTA.
A: Companies within our group are regulated legal practices, practising under the SRA, and where it is necessary for CTA to require regulated support, it is readily available.
